MGH Vascular Center

This high-profile project combined the expertise of three critical departments at MGH—cardiac, vascular and neural—to provide leading-edge imaging and consultation services in a state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory. MCM’s design responds to the unique needs of all three specialties by providing separate testing and exam space, while also creating areas that allow multiple doctors to meet with one patient at the same time and collaborate on cases.

Physical and Occupational Therapy
Waltham, MA

A patient-friendly, comfortable environment was one of the key requirements for the renovated physical and occupational therapy facilities. The design achieved these goals using a warm color palette and subtle finishes. Relocated from a different floor at the hospital, the facilities included clinic space, private exam and treatment areas, and an open gym. Patient care was maintained throughout construction, and MCM took strict measures to contain dust and noise and ensure infection control and life safety measures.
